Drop-head title. At head of title: 'Anno Quinquagesimo Quarto Georgii III. Regis. Cap. CLVII.' Imprint from colophon. Soane was apppointed one of three 'Attached Architects' to the Office of Works in 1813, joint with John Nash and Robert Smirke, subsequent to its reorganization.
Copy Notes Inscribed at head of title John Soane / 8 Sept: 1814. Underlinings in ink in sections II and III. Bound (2) in a volume of parliamentary reports on the Office of Works, 1813--1831.
