First published in 1777 as Medical instructions towards the prevention and cure of chronic or slow diseases peculiar to women (2nd ed., q.v.), in one volume; in 1781 a two-volume edition was published with the addition of Practical observations on the child-bed fever, first published separately in 1772, as vol.
