First published in 1704, this treatise on the influence of the sun and moon upon human bodies by the physician and collector Richard Mead marks a transition from astrological medicine to Newtonian medicine. (ODNB). ESTC n8315.
Copy Notes Bound between pp. [122] and 123 is a duplicate of the conjugate leaves K2.3 (pp. 67--70), those in the correct location being present but torn.
Binding C18th sprinkled calf, gilt double-ruled borders and spine, red leather spine-label.
