The issues for 1811 and 1812 only of a monthly satirical magazine edited by Hewson Clarke and collected in biannual volumes. Includes sixteen folded hand-coloured illustrations by George Cruikshank and others, dated January--May, July--August, November--December 1811 and January--February, April--May, September--October and December 1812. The first five are not signed, those from July 1811 onwards are signed by George Cruikshank.

Copy Notes 24 numbers purchased from Mr. Clark [SNB: Dr. Clark] for £3 on 19 December 1812. (Jnl 5, p. 95; SNB). With the plates separately bound as a fifth volume (21.8 cm.).

Binding C19th half hairsheep, marbled-paper boards, gilt-ruled spine, gilt-lettered. Mr. Britton paid for binding 7s. 6d. on 31 January 1831. (Jnl 5, p. 102). Bound in five volumes.
