Anonymous. The anonymous treatise Man superior to woman was published in 1739 (q.v.) in response to Woman not inferior to man, the original pamphlet by 'Sophia' in the same year (q.v.). The final page contains a list of 'Pamphlets printed for John Hawkins'. ESTC t2976.
