Anonymous. Not in ESTC. No other copy has been traced of this edition of this work by Samuel Beaufoy, Minister of Lady Huntingdon's Chapel at Town Sutton, who had published two earlier versions using the same title in Canterbury, 1793 (ESTC t136210) and Maidstone, 1796 (ESTC t136209), both issued with two shorter works which are not present here. The Advertisement (pp. iii--iv) states that the price ('sewed, 4d, or 1l. 8s. per hundred; or nearly bound, 8d. or 2l. 18s. per hundred') was fixed lower than their present value, in hopes that copies would be distributed by the 'wealthy and pious' to those unwilling or unable to buy them. Signatures: a2 A-G6 H2.
Copy Notes The name Beaufoy inscribed in ink on the title-page; extensive markings and underlinings in pencil and ink, and an annotation in pencil on p. 73.
