Parallel text in French and English on facing pages. Bagster issued a 'Liturgia Polyglotta' intended to be interleaved as a pocket edition along similar lines to his 'Polyglott Bible' (1816). The present copy of the Book of Common Prayer in French is interleaved with the text in English. The verso of p. 143 of the French text is blank, with the English text containing the 'Forms Of Prayer To Be Used At Sea.', etc. beginning on the facing recto as p. 144, and pagination continuing in sequence to p. 168 (recto; verso blank). Issued in an edition binding in paper boards giving the price as ten shillings (see binding description below).
