Copy 2: 16.3 cm. Imperfect; wanting title-page and the first leaf of the text containing tables of the 'Proper Lessons to be Read ...' and the calendar before 'May'. Inscribed in ink on front pastedown Imperfect. / before 1837. / GB [i.e. George Bailey, first curator of the museum] with references. Second front free-endpaper inscribed in pencil Temp Geo II and in ink 1731, the last two digits scratched out.
Binding Copy 1: C18th black goatskin, gilt-tooled borders, corner-pieces and central lozenge, gilt-tooled spine compartments without spine-label or lettering, gilt edges.
Copy 2: C18th plain sprinkled calf, blind-ruled spine, without spine-label or lettering.
