The New Testament has a separate title-page with imprint 'John Baskett, Printer to the University, 1728'. Final leaf of Old Testament is Zz8; final leaf New Testament is O8. Preceding the title-page of the New Testament is a leaf of tables signed: [aaa]. Darlow & Moule 1005. ESTC t89299 (O.T.), ESTC t94996 (N.T.).
Copy Notes Both copies bound (2) as issued with The book of common prayer, 1731 (q.v.), and The whole book of Psalms, 1730 (q.v.).
Copy 2: 16.3 cm. Imperfect; wanting title-page and all between Malachi II, 17 and Matthew i.e. the final leaf of Malachi, the leaf of tables [aaa] and the N.T. title-leaf. Illegible scribbles on final page together with a calculation 492 / 2 /[=] 984 and in a standard hand CB. Born 29. of June 1748 / Old stile 18. Saturday / ½ Past Eight / or a litle Better.
Binding Copy 1: C18th black goatskin, gilt-tooled borders, corner-pieces and central lozenge, gilt-tooled spine compartments without spine-label or lettering, gilt edges.
Copy 2: C18th plain sprinkled calf, blind-ruled spine, without spine-label or lettering.
