Copy Notes Printed grey paper wrappers retained, the upper reading 'Catalogue of the Quire Stock, Copper Plates, Copyrights, &c. of the late Mr. Josiah Taylor, Architectural Library, No. 59 High Holborn; Friday, April 9, 1835, and Five Following Days at Half-Past Twelve O'Clock. Southgate and Son'. The date Friday is struck through in ink. The upper wrapper inscribed in ink Mr Williams / Charles Str. Accompanied by a folded letter (stamped and sealed) tipped in from Messrs. Southgate & Son dated April 10, 1835, informing Soane that his Plans, elevations, and sections of building, 47 plates, folio, £2 12s. 6d., 47 copperplates and copyright, were featured as lot 1009 (sixth day, 15th April). Unannotated. Bound in a collection of sale catalogues.
