Lugt 10491--2. The sale of Nollekens' collection of prints and drawings was held by the auctioneer R.H. Evans on 4--5 December 1823 (q.v.).

Copy Notes Copy 1: In this impression lots 91--100 of the first day's sale are on p. 9 and p. [10] is blank, and the verso of the title-page is blank. Inscribed on title-page in ink For John Soane Esqre; a couple of pencil markings. Bound (1) in a collection of sale catalogues.
Copy 2: Imperfect; wanting all after p. 8 (i.e. the second and third days' sales). Variant impression with 'Conditions Of Sale' on verso of title-page and the lots of the first day's sale ending on p. 8. Bound (2) after copy 1 in a collection of sale catalogues.
Copy 3: Lacking pp. [3]--10 (i.e. the first day's sale). Possibly a separate issue of the second and third day's portion of the catalogue (pp. [11]--27, [1]), with a variant title-page reading as above until '... Which will be Sold by Auction, By Mr. Christie, On Friday, July the 4th, 1823, and following Day, At His Great Room In Pall Mall, ...', with 'Conditions Of Sale' on verso as copy 2 above. Pencil notes of prices against lots 82--96. Bound (3) after the other copies in a collection of sale catalogues.
