Page 50 misnumbered '83'. Printer's statement from verso of title-page. The first part of the sale was held on 11--23 May 1824 (q.v.). The final page includes an advertisement for the third portion of the sale which was held between 28 May and 9 June 1824 (q.v.). In all some 3700 lots were sold for almost £18000; the works of art disposed at Christie's sale on 14--15 May 1824 (q.v.) fetched nearly £6000 (ODNB).
Copy Notes Unopened and unannotated. Pink paper spine retained. Bound in a collection of sale catalogues as item 1 with copies of the first and third parts of the sale.
