Lugt 10919. The plate depicts 'Richard III. Edward IV. &c From the Plantagenet Tapestry, the Property of the late Charles Yarnold, Esqr. The 'Plantagenet Tapestry' is discussed in Notes and Queries, Nos 3 and 5, November and December 1849. Soane bought various small antiquities at the Yarnold sale.
Copy Notes Copy 1: Imperfect; wanting the plate. Inscribed in ink on title-page John Soane Esq. and 1825, and in another hand Sundry lots purchased by Mr S. These are marked in ink. Bound in a collection of sale catalogues of 'Articles Of Virtu', 1798 to 1832.
Copy 2: Unannotated. Bound in a collection of sale catalogues.
Binding Copy 1: Later C19th half calf, maroon binder's cloth boards. Numbered '22' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.
Copy 2: Later C19th half green binder's cloth, marbled-paper boards. Numbered '11' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.
