Drop-head title. Includes on the final page 'Proposals For Publishing by Subscription, Six Engraved Prints, ... Subscriptions are received by Mr. Barry, and at the Society's Great Room. ...'. Barry's six large murals on canvas for the Royal Society of Arts painted between 1777 and 1784, representing the progress of civilization with allegorical and historical figures, were subsequently etched by the artist with publication dates between 1791 and 1800 (q.v.). ESTC t30005.

Copy Notes Bound (6) in a collection of miscellaneous catalogues mostly published between 1779 and 1785, including the Royal Academy Exhibition catalogues for 1779, 1782, 1783, 1785 and 1795 (qq.v.).

Binding C18th quarter white sheep, blue paper boards, spine ink-lettered 'Miscellaneous/ Catalogues &c.'. Later numbered '16' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.
