Lugt 9819. Title-page improved by the addition in ink of P.R.A. Final leaf is blank. Benjamin West was elected President of the Royal Academy in 1792 and was forced to resign in 1805. Announcement on the last page of 'The Sale of Mr. West's Collection of PICTURES by the Old Masters ... on June 23d nd 24th, ...' (q.v.).

Copy Notes Unannotated. Bound (1) in a collection of sale catalogues including that of 23--24 June as advertised.

Binding C19th half calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-ruled spine, red morocco spine-label. Later numbered '27' in a series of sale catalogue volumes.
