The late Bishop of Calcutta was Thomas Fanshawe Middleton (1769--1822). The nobleman owner of the First Folio was: [?]. The Shakespeare is lot 889 on Day 4: 'wants Ben Jonson's verses on the portrait, the leaf containing Digges's verses to Shakspeare's Memorie, and the List of Actors, ... Very Few Copies Equal To This In Heighth And Breadth.'. This sale is not recorded in Anthony James West, The Shakespeare First Folio: the history of the books, vol.
