The address, list of honorary members, and 'Conditions For The Reception Of Pictures, &c.' signed by 'J. Vincent Barber, Secretary, Birmingham, April 9, 1814'. The text of the 'Address' and list of the 'Honorary Members' of the Society are the same as the first portion of the exhibition catalogue (q.v.).
Copy Notes Accompanied by an ALs addressed Birmingham / John Soane Esqre. Sir, / I am requested by the members / of the Birmingham Academy of Arts to send / you a copy of their Address, and to offer you / their sincere thanks for permitting them / to place your name on their list of ho-/norary members - They beg to assure you / that they are fully sensible of the value of / the favor you have done them & they / will be careful to preserve such counte-/nance & support. / I am / with much respect / yrs obediently / P.H.
