The asylums managed by the Society were the Royal Victoria Asylum at Chiswick and the brenton Asylum at Hackney-Wick.

Copy Notes Copy 1: Bound (9) in a collection of pamphlets.
Copy 2: Imperfect; wanting the list of subscribers; paginated: 26 p. The text is the same as that of copy 1 so far as the general contents are concerned. Where copy 1 has a list of subscribers (pp. [1]--52), copy 2 has a note referring to the availabilty of this list from the Society's office. Bound (10) in a collection of pamphlets after copy 1, and with part of an incomplete copy of the Sixth Annual report, 1836 (q.v.).

Binding Both copies: Later C19th pebble-grained maroon binder's cloth, gilt-lettered spine reading 'Insurance & Societies'. Later numbered 'B' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
