Drop-head title from p. [3]. The title-page consists of a title 'Report.' and printer's imprint. The text concludes on page 20 with a 'Declaration' signed by 'Edward [Duke of Kent], Augustus Frederick [Duke of Sussex] and John Harness 28th September 1813'. Dr John Harness is described on p. 5 as 'as 'the Medical Commissioner to His Majesty's Navy'. The Royal College of Surgeons has a copy where the text concludes on p. 19 and the substantive report ending on p. 18 is signed off on 'September 27th, 1813'. The National Library of Medicine has a text with title-page and imprint: 'London: C. Chapple, 1813' and while this may have followed the publication of the earlier issues it records the same sum of monies received by subscription to 27th September (p. 35). The committee was established at a meeting held on 31 May 1813 (q.v.).

Copy Notes An illegible inscription in ink WL[--?] on the title-page. Bound (13) in a collection of pamphlets.

Binding C19th maroon morocco-grained binder's cloth, gilt-lettered spine reading 'Hospitals.' Later numbered 'C' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
