The address is dated 'March, 1st. 1823'. Imprint from colophon; given on the title-page as 'Apollo Press, Johnson, Typ.' The Committee of Guardians for 1821 includes John Soane as both Guardian and Trustee. Soane appears in the subscribers' list with nine donations, John Soane, junior, once. Frontispiece engraving by Cosmo Armstrong after Correggio.
Copy Notes Gilt edges. Bound (6) in a collection of pamphlets.
Binding Later C19th brown morocco-grain binder's cloth, gilt-lettered on spine 'Artists' / Societies'. Later numbered 'F' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
