Originally published anonymously in 1809. Imprint on verso of half-title: 'Printed by T. Collins, Harvey's Buildings, Strand, London.' The final [3] pp. contain a list of 'Books Published By James Cawthorn' and an advertisement for the 'British Circulating Library' run from the same address at 24, Cockspur Street, Charing-Cross.

Copy Notes Bound (4) and last in a collection of plays and verse.

Binding C19th half calf, marbled-paper boards, gilt double-ruled spine, black spine-label gilt-lettered 'Oedipus Tyrannus &c &c &c'. Bound by Edwin Hutchinson for 1s. 8d., 19 June 1830. (Spiers Box. Binding 51). Later numbered '85' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
