Jeffreys, a goldsmith and jeweller in Piccadilly and for a time MP for Coventry from 1796 until the Election of 1802 after which his candidacy was disqualified, had published his A review of the conduct of the Prince of Wales in his various transactions with Mr Jefferys earlier in 1806.
