Includes a sketch of the Plan of the Barrack ground at Perth. The fourth report of the Commissioners of Military Enquiry was issued in 1807 (q.v.). John Sanders, architect to the Barrack Department, had been Soane's first pupil and gave a copy of his Observations on the fourth report, 1808 (q.v.) to Soane.

Copy Notes The half-title is misbound after the divider leaf at the end. Bound (7) in a collection of political and satirical tracts.

Binding C19th calf, gilt roll-tooled borders, gilt double-ruled spine, red spine-labels, gilt-lettered 'Political Pamphlets'. Numbered '75' in a series of pamphlet volumes.
