Milner was noted less for 'serious drama' than for his melodramatic adaptations of Scott and Byron. The dedication is to Stephen Kemble. Henry Kemble is listed amongst the cast, as is Harriet Smithson. Advertisement for another play published by Lowndes on the final page.
