Being a continuation of the description of the patent apparatus for warming and cooling air and liquid; and containing an account of the new water calorifere, and other apparatus: and also of the manner in which the following places have been warmed and ventilated this year: viz. the House of Commons, the Hospital, in the Marylebone Fields, adjoining the Regent's Park, ... the Hospital for Insane Patients of the Army, Fort Clarence, Chatham; and the Olympic Theatre. Chabannes's substantive report On conducting air by forced ventilation, referred to as 'my publication of last year' on p. [35] of the present pamphlet, was published in 1818 (q.v.). Includes a description of the 'New Patent Water Calorifere' and a plan for its installation at 36 & 37 Burlington Arcades. The two plates of the Olympic Theatre are numbered. BAL Early printed books, no. 593.
Copy Notes In this copy the two leaves forming pp. [9--12] are uncut and bound as a folded leaf. Bound in a collection of pamphets.
