First edition 1813. Volume I printed by J.G. Barnard, vol. II by T. Davison. Errata slip bound in before the text of p. [1] in vol. I. Eustace was collecting material for a supplement when he contracted malaria and died in Naples in 1815; a continuation was published by Sir Richard Colt Hoare as A classical tour through Italy and Sicily; tending to illustrate some districts which have not been described by Mr. Eustace, in his classical tour, 1819 (q.v.).
