The Morning Chronicle was first published in 1789 in continuation of The Morning Chronicle and London advertiser, and was previously edited by Soane's friend James Perry. This issue includes an account of the anniversary meeting of the Society for Preventing Cruelty to Animals, and evidence from various medical practitioners including Everard Home.
