Single leaf, verso blank. Drop-head title. Soane purchased the house at 14 Lincoln's Inn Fields in October 1823 to achieve much needed space for his growing collections and to create a symmetrical composition with the houses he had built at 12 and 13 Lincoln's Inn Fields. See Ptolemy Dean, Sir John Soane and London (Aldershot 2006), pp. 92--101. An earlier sale of building materials was held the previous November (q.v.).
