The report of the meeting follows a reprint of the report 'At a Public Meeting, held in the Concert Room of the King's Theatre, in the Haymarket, for the purpose of taking into consideration the best method of assisting in Re-Building The English Opera House, on Monday, the 23rd of March, 1830. The most noble the Marquess of Ailesbury in the chair. ...'. The meeting in question was actually held on 22 March (as notified on 15 March, q.v.). The report stipulated that 'The subscription will be payable in five instalments, the first to be paid on the Agreement for the Ground Lease being signed, ...' which point is drawn attention to on the execution of the Ground Lease at this meeting of 1833.
