Drop-head title. Docket-title reads 'Theatres Royal Drury Lane And Covent Garden. Copy Memorial To His Grace The Duke Of Devonshire'. Imprint from docket-title. One of the periodic attempts by the proprietors of the Patent Theatres, to maintain their monopoly through the annihilation of the minor theatres, in this case in the form of 'Mr Arnold' of the Lyceum and Messrs Morris and Winston. Includes at the end the (negative) response from the Lord Chamberlain's Office dated 'February 15th, 1833' and signed by 'T.B. Mash'.
