Half-sheet, verso blank. Drop-head title. Soane is listed among the vice-presidents. The festival had been postponed the previous year 'as a Tribute of Respect and Gratitude to the Memory of the late Illustrious and Beneficent President, His Royal Highness the Duke of York'.

Copy Notes Inscribed in ink I sent £105- / did not go to the dinner. Accompanied by the engraved ticket (q.v.), the draft of Soane's letter dated 14 March 1828 enclosing the donation of one hundred guineas in lieu of the legacy he had originally intended to include in his will, and the Fund's letter of thanks the same day for the Princely Bounty of One Hundred Guineas signed by Danl Egerton / Secretary. (Archives 7/F/28/3,4).
