Imprint from vol. 33, no. 38 for 10 May 1793. Twice weekly newspaper, continuation of Courier de l'Europe founded in Paris in 1776, the first emigré newspaper to set up in London even before the Revolution. Its editors included Charles Théveneau de Morande, Verduisant, abbe Calonne, Reynaud de Montlosier, Jacques Régnier, and its presence in London was a factor in the propaganda of the Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars.
