A reissue including a printed 'List of Officers and Committee, First Session, 1836' on verso of title-page, lacking in the original printing (q.v.). The blank space for the name of the 'President' is inscribed in ink John Stewart Esqr. The draft of Soane's letter to Boult, the Society's secretary, accepting the nomination as an Honorary Member is dated 7 March, 1836. (Priv. Corr. V.E.4.4). His name is not yet included in the printed list of honorary members.
