An anti-Catholic diatribe in the year of the passing of the Emancipation Act, addressed 'To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom in Parliament assembled. ...' Poynder was a solicitor and evangelical activist who wrote numerous articles attacking the East India Company's policy of religious toleration in India.
