Folded half-sheet, final verso blank. Drop-head title. 'The Chaplain' = Reverend John Ousby, first elected in 1824. The statement concerns the inadequacy of the chaplain's remuneration in comparison with that of other prison chaplains, and subjoins letters from Dr. Bennett, chaplain of the Penitentiary, Millbank, dated 1 November 1833, and from G.H. Wollaston, dated 30 October 1833.
