Folded half-sheet, final verso blank. Drop-head title. 'Communications may be addressed to J.S. Hon. Sec. pro tem. at the bar of the Freemasons' Tavern', and dated at end 'July, 1831'. Proposals for a society to encourage the art of medal engraving, citing among other examples 'that splendid series - the Napoleon medals' (q.v.) evincing 'the value and importance attached to medallic representation. ... And have the deeds of the British been less worthy of commemoration than those of the French?'.
