Folded quarter-sheet imposed with drop-head title as above on the second verso, 'Postscript' to 'the first "Appeal To Common Sense"' on the first recto, and 'A Second Appeal To Common Sense' on the first verso and conjugate recto, the latter paginated '4'. Signed at the end of p. 4 'R. Honestus, Proprietor and Editor of The Speculator*' with footnote '* For Particulars, read "Politics for Freemen." Price only 1s. 6d.'; neither publication has been traced. A diatribe against a grant of £400,000 made 'not two years' previously to a 'celebrated Warrior' (presumably the Duke of Wellington so rewarded after the Waterloo campaign in 1814).
