Folded half-sheet, conjugate leaf blank. Drop-head title. A printed letter inviting subscriptions towards the payment of outstanding claims upon the company. Soane was a subscriber through his connection to the banker William Praed, chairman of the Grand Junction Canal Company founded in 1793, for whom Soane designed Tyringham. See Gillian Darley, John Soane: an accidental romantic (London 1999), pp. 106--7.
