Drop-head title. Includes obituary notice for James Wyatt, who died in a carriage accident on 4 September 1813 on p. [3]. The proprietor of The Sun newspaper from 1813 to 1825 was John Taylor, one of Soane's closest friends in later life. Taylor also wrote sonnets and other verses to Soane, which were included in his collection Poems on various subjects, 1827 (q.v.).
