Drop-head title. Docket-title 'Particulars And Conditions of Sale, ...'. Imprint from docket-title. Lot 1 was the 'Substantial Brick-Built Dwelling House ... Situate No. 62, ... adjoining the Freemasons' Tavern, in Possession of Mr Cuff, till Christmas next, Old Style'. Soane was proposed for election to the Grand Master's Lodge in 1813 and immediately nominated as Grand Superintendent of Works, an office he held until his death.
