Drop-head title. Imprint from docket-title. Text dated at end '14 August 1819'. An undated lithographic form for submissions is also preserved in the Soane Museum (Priv. Corr. X.B.31).

Copy Notes Copy 1: Covering letter in ink tipped in (with C20th tape): Dear Sir / It is not fitting that the First Architect of the / Country should remain unacquainted with the / suggestions I beg leave to enclose / Iddio ce ne feliciti! / I remain / Dear Sir / Yours faithfully / Redmond W. Pilkington / White Lane / Decr. 1st. 1819, addressed on verso To / John Soane Esqre. / Lincolns Inn Fields. Some pencil indications against the suggestions for 'Foundation', 'Walls', 'Roof' and 'Materials'. An inscription in ink at the head of the docket-title has been crossed out.
Copy 2: 33.5 cm. Endorsed in ink in an office hand Churches & Chapels.
