Drop-head title. Imprint from colophon. St Peter's, Walworth was the first to be completed of the three 'new churches' designed by Soane at the request of the Church Building Commissioners. Two printed tickets each admitting three persons to the ceremony of laying the first stone on 2 June 1823 are also in the Soane Museum (Priv. Corr. X.C.2.12).
