Docket title. Drop-head title: 'Revival And Re-Construction Of Hungerford Market: Established By Royal Charters.' Signed by 'John Britton, Hon. Secretary. Feb. 18, 1830'. Presents an account published in The Times newspaper by a 'public reporter' who had received a copy of the architect Charles Fowler's Description of the plan for the revival of Hungerford market, 1829 (q.v.). Building commenced in 1831 (in the aftermath of the opening of the new London Bridge which was a factor in the mind's of the projectors through the openings to through-traffic further up river afforded by the new bridge), and the new market was opened in 1833.
