Drop-head title. The second of two lectures delivered by the singer Thomas Philipps at the Freemasons Hall in Dublin in January 1824; it was reviewed on 29 January 1824 in Saunders's News-Letter, and Daily Advertiser (q.v.) and The Freeman's Journal (q.v.).

Copy Notes Accompanied by the syllabus of the first lecture (q.v.) and an ALs addressed to Soane, dated Dublin Jany 22, in which Philipps sets out his intention to give a concert at/ one of the summer theatres and seeks Soane's support in arranging to repeat the lectures at the Royal Insti=/tution before I appeared on/ the stage. Six copies of an undated bifolium advertising both lectures are also in the Soane Museum (q.v.).
