Folded half-sheet, first verso and conjugate leaf blank. Untitled. This is an earlier version of the subscription circular printed in March 1834 (q.v.). It includes the 'Subscribers' Names ... who form the Committee'. The Committee anticipate that the proposed testimonial 'will enable them to raise an imperishable monument to the character of Sir John Soane; ... and in all probability, to form the foundation of a Medallic Series, illustrative of the History of Architecture in Great Britain'. Soane was presented with a Gold Medal struck in his honour by the Architects of England on 24 March 1835 (q.v.).
