Folded half-sheet, first verso and conjugate leaf blank. Drop-head title. Printed letter signed in ink by John Summers 'Secretary', concerned with the replacement of locks and keys to the Square following the misappropriation and copying of the former keys. The new locks were 'now making by Messrs. Bramah.'

Copy Notes Previously folded as a letter addressed in ink on blank p. [4] John Soane Esq / 13. Endorsed in ink in an office hand 1st July 1822 / Trustees of / Lincolns Inn Fields.
