F.S.A. ... intended as a supplement to his Classical and topographical tour in Greece during the years 1801, 1805, and 1806. In one volume, folio, with 131 lithographic plates.

Includes an extract from the editor's preface, Dodwell's sister, Lady Crichton, and a list of the plates. The price of the volume was to be £6 16s. 6d. in cloth boards. The work was eventually published in 1834. See BAL, Early printed works, no. 893. Soane did not acquire the published volume (the library has Dodwell's Views in Greece, 1821, q.v. and the 1819 edition of A classical and topographical tour through Greece, during the years 1801, 1805, and 1806, q.v.) but, instead, negotiated the deposit of Dodwell's original drawings (SM Drawings Vols 22--24) through H.H. Carwardine and Thomas Phillips, R.A. acting on behalf of Lady Crichton, whose exchange of correspondence with Soane of November and December 1834 accompanies the prospectus.
