Possibly issued as part of tome V of Agostino Savioli's edition of Le commedie del sig. dott. Carlo Goldoni, 13 vols, Venice, 1770--1772, but here found in an ad hoc compilation.
Copy Notes Bound (2) after a separate edition of Goldoni's I malcontenti from an unidentified collection (q.v.) and with four further plays by Goldoni published by Agostino Savioli and possibly issued as part of his edition of Le commedie del sig. dott. Carlo Goldoni, del teatro comico, 15 vols, Venice, 1770--1780: La bella selvaggia (q.v.), L'apatista (q.v.), La donna bizzarra (q.v.) all dated 1773, and Il vero amico (q.v.) dated 1774. The volume is annotated in ink on front free-endpaper, possibly by Soane: Binding 15 B. / Each play 5B. [i.e. baiocchi, a currency denomination of the Papal States from the fifteenth century until the unification of Italy].
