Two earlier issues forming part of compilations in the Soane Museum can be dated to 1753 or 4 (q.v.) and the first half of the 1770s (q.v.) respectively.
Copy Notes Bound as the third distinct element in a copy of Piranesi's Opere varie issued in the mid 1790s (q.v.).
Binding C19th calf, gilt-ruled borders, gilt-ruled spine, red spine-label gilt-lettered 'Piranesi / Opere / Varie'. Part of a 12-volume set re-bound by Hood and McCullock, to whom Soane paid £24 on 3 July 1826. (Archive 16/12/38).
