Untitled; title taken from Guilmard, p. 130. This suite of designs for garden stairs may have been for sale separately, as well as forming part of L'architecture à la mode, published by Jean Mariette around or after 1710 (q.v.). In addition to designs by Le Blond, the plates include designs by Le Nôtre. Berlin Kat. 3458 (6).
Copy Notes Plate 2 misbound in a suite of Pavillons en treillage, also by Le Blond (q.v.). Bound as pencil numbers 50--54 and 57 in Mariette, L'architecture à la mode (q.v.).
Binding C18th sprinkled calf, gilt tooled spine, red spine label gilt lettered 'Architec/ A La/ Mode', blind lettered 'Tome/ II', circular paper label numbered in ink '151'.
